Kristin McGrath

Kristin McGrath comes to TWENTY12 after successful seasons with ValuAct Capital in 2009 and Colavita-Sutter Home in 2008. McGrath is talented a all-arounder who excels in the mountains, time trials and even criteriums. In 2008 she appeared on the podium multiple times throughout the NRC including taking the Best Young Rider and Best Amateur Jersey's at Nature Valley Grand Prix. Kristin started the 2009 season off with the US National Team in Europe racing the first two rounds of World Cups; unfortunately a pile-up at Tour of Flanders left Kristin side-lined with a fractured leg. However, Kristin's mental toughness took over and she came back in the second half of the season to garner two podiums at Cascade Cycling Classic, including a win on Stage 6. She then went on to take her first European podium with a third place effort in the Time Trial at La Route de France. McGrath came to cycling after four years competing as a Division I varsity soccer player and swimmer at the University of Tennessee.
